Spiritual Development 1995 - Present

Through my academic studies and professional activities I have become acquainted with some of the world's leading economists (government experts, researchers). I have also received great support and acknowledgment for my research work. Early on however I became aware of an imbalance in the academic and spiritual aspects of my life. I started Yoga classes in Toronto in 1995 with Axel Molema and learnt about discrimination and endurance. I later joined the Berlin protestant "Martha" Parish lead by Monika and Stefan Mathias and met Zen-teacher Emily von Albershausen. Through these teachers I learnt about inner- and outer realities, about dharma and human imperfection.

It was only as a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses however that I experienced a breakthrough in experiencing life in other than tangible dimensions, namely with faith on the spiritual plane.

A very dedicated couple, Manfred and Bärbel Rieger of Bethel Germany, taught me in a series of frequent unpaid one-to-one lessons over a period of six years about the necessity of becoming acquainted with God's will and nature. I learnt to build up a personal relationship with God, as well as to live according to His principles and to teach these precious and life-giving truths to others.

As a result, I

· am able to experience peace and contentment I have never known before (Isa. 48:18, Php 4:6)

· feel protected and safe (Ps. 55:22 )

· see catastrophic world conditions (ecological degradation, terrorism or human egoism) as a fulfilment of biblical prophecies (Mt 24:6-7:, 2. Ti 3.1-5)

· feel joy to provide help and love to people in need (Ga 6:10, Ac 20:35)

· have the faith that Jehovah God will bring about salvation by making a new and perfect world and that God's sovereignty will be acknowledged and praised by all nations (Re 21:4-5, Isa2:2-4)

Since I am so enthusiastic about my experiences, I am eager to pass them on to others, to share some of the blessings I have received, and to preach the good news to people in need.

I owe great thanks and respect to the organisation of Jehovah's witnesses, who, in continuous self-sacrifice, provide spiritual food, caring love and wise advice to their brothers and sisters in faith.
